The Community Mental Health Center for Children and Youth in Wieliczka is a place where children, adolescents, and their families can receive comprehensive, specialized psychological support close to home. We operate as part of the child and adolescent psychiatry reform, serving as the first referral level of care – closest to the patient and their environment.

Our Team

Our center employs an interdisciplinary team of specialists: psychologists, psychotherapists, community therapists, and consulting psychiatrists. We discuss each case together to provide the best possible help tailored to the individual needs of the child and family.

Who Do We Help?

We accept children and adolescents up to 21 years of age (if they continue their education) as well as their families and caregivers. We help with:

• emotional difficulties (anxiety, sadness, mood swings)
• problems in relationships with peers or family
• school difficulties and motivation problems
• developmental and adaptation crises
• eating disorders and body image issues
• self-harm and suicidal thoughts
• difficulties resulting from traumatic experiences
• behavioral problems (aggression, defiance, withdrawal)

Depending on your needs, we offer:

• psychological and diagnostic consultations
• individual psychotherapy
• family and systemic therapy
• group therapy
• community support (home visits, school collaboration)
• psychoeducation for parents and caregivers
• crisis interventions

Free Help Without Referral

All services are funded by the National Health Fund (NFZ) – help is completely free. No doctor's referral is needed to visit our center. Simply contact us by phone or in person to schedule your first consultation.

We believe that early psychological intervention can prevent the development of more serious disorders and reduce the need for psychiatric hospitalization. That's why we strive to respond quickly and work with the entire family system, not just the child alone. Our goal is to restore emotional balance and support the healthy development of young people in their natural environment.
